Help with sub install no MM

so im looking at the stock amp in the trunk but i do not know what wires to splice into, help would be appreciated.

From what I was told- if you don't have Multimedia there is no external amp. ANd the battery is under the hood (passenger side towards cabin).

ok thanks, so i guess a rca pac is just a line level converter right? however cant you just tap off the amp in the trunk so you don't take the whole dash apart?

Yes- PAC is the brand
If you have the base audio (no mm/no nav) from what I was told-you do not have an amp in the trunk. The amp is built into the head unit. I you do have mm/nav the amp is in the trunk and it is connected to the head unit by fiber optic cables. You would need to locate the output signal and tap into it there (I don't know the wire schematic for that).
I'm getting the itch again. You're making me want to start an install.

Ok thanks for the info, i did some investigating and i have the harman/kardon® LOGIC7® surround sound system, so i guess that is why i have the amp in the back. i guess i will have to get a voltmeter and try to find out what what wire is for what speaker and then tap off that. im probably going to do a DIY and post it up.
