Ok so I will be looking around this weekend for a set of rims. I'm 90% on going with 3 piece wheels. I'm just not sure what color to get on my car since is Pewter. I'm not a big fan of the silver with pewter. Any ideas or maybe some pics??

if you are going to a wheel shop, make sure to call in first and see if they have a wide selection of our offset so you dont waste your time going there to see just one ugly set. also they will be able to roll out the rim to your car so you can visualize what it will look like before you purchase. bring a camera and a friend. post your favorite rims on the fourm and we'll all be happy to help you choose.

keep in mind that if you get rims with a lip (dish) it will look smaller than a set without.

as for color, have you though about gun metal? mine are hyper silver on the spokes and gun metal sides. in the day time it all just looks silver, but at night the rims looks mean and dark.

what's your price limit? Black on pewter isn't bad. polished on pewter is clean and classy.

Do you mean like a high polish? If so I have a feeling the car will look nice.

I love pewter but the color is so confusing.. I wonder how the gunmetal will look? I tried a search on the forum but didn't run into any pewter with rims


BTW I'm looking into a style like the Capital Forged "dublin"

Here are some examples.. Polished, black, and gunmetal.. not saying to go with these specific designs or brands, but just to give you an idea of finish. Personally, I'd go high polished with pewter.

I just ordered a set of 3 piece MHT Sude black center wheels for my C350. You should go with the MHT paragons with pewter centers chrome lip and benz emblem in the middle my brother has these wheels in silver on his E55 looks sick!!!!
