This guy pukes in the back of my car. he tried to stick his head out the window but got it all over the door. All up in the window controls and the speaker covers. Also, on the head rest and the BACK WINDOW. some on the felt on the back shelf. I cleaned what i could but its dark out. I wanted to know if there is any recomended auto detailers in the DC area that can do a thorough job and get into all the little nooks. Possible take apart the door and clean everything separately.

I want to cry right now. i bought the car 2 weeks ago.

that sux for you man. i was that guy before. it was my friends 2 day old nissan pathfinder way back when. I PAID to have his car detailed the next day and cleand a lot of it off myself, then sent it to the detailers. i spent $150 for his car to get washed.

you shouldn't be the one to pay for the cleaning. clean what you can and have hm spring for your detail.

wow that sucks.. i always carry a large garbage bag in my trunk for occasions like this. you can basically tie the garbage bag around your friends neck. sure it looks silly but its worth it.

I think you should clean it up yourself .Nurses do it day in day out. You must have more money than sense to have a detailer do it. Your fault for getting your mate that pissed!!

HE HAD TWO BAGS WITH HIM! AND THE WINDOW WAS DOWN.
i would have been less pissed if he got it on the floor directly but he got it ALL OVER THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR.

and yeah, i cleaned up what i could, but the rest will still need to be professionally done.

I had it happen to me some time ago so I feel your pain. First of all your friend. Depending on what he drank you're going to have a problem with the smell. Take it to a shop and have them clean/shampoo and disinfect the car.

I feel for you.....My uncle puked all over the car. With good intentions, he lowered the window and puked into the slot where the window goes down. Long story short, the puke did slightly discolour the inside door leather.

Although I tried to clean it with disinfectant wipes and q tips, I was so angry and finally had it detailed fully the next day.

Get it done quick, you don't want the stuff to bake or the acid to stain anything.

You might want to remove the door trim on the door he puked on, and just check if any went down the window track..etc..
might start to grow something later on...

Thanks everyone,
I went to Cliff's in Silver Springs MD. he did an amazing job. I'd say 98% of the mess is gone. only the back shelf has a bit if stain but i think that might fade in the sun. Im going to try and get thoes shout pens to see if it can remove that crap. But he does good work. The dealer i bought my car from goes to them for detailing.

this sucks, if it was me i would be doing it myself(make sure every cm was cleaned) 14 hours based on my 8 hours i usually take for interior cleaning lol.

My dog threw up in my other car, though it wasn't as big of an accident as your friend. I rinsed and wiped everything down with a warm water/Murphy's Soap solution and a microfiber cloth. I then used a wet/dry Shop Vac to suck up the solution and bits of vomit left, and then I repeat again.

The Shop Vac is good for sucking up any liquid that got into the crevaces of any controls or seams. Since the gaps are very tight, you don't have to worry about any chunks getting inside of the door panels and buttons.

You could get excellent odor neutralizing sprays at pet stores. They are excellent for dog urine and poop, so it should do just fine for vomit.

You did a good deed in driving your buddy. I'd rather have someone puke in my car rather than having him drive drunk. He should pay for the detailing and dinner.
