I don't have pics, but on a 42 mile drive from my house to Irvine, I got 31.2mpg driving my c300.
I thought that was amazingly good compared to the stated 26mpg on the dealership sticker.

There were plenty of posts regarding mileage. I think the highest I ever say was 33 or possibly 34.
At the time, I thought that in Summer I'd get better mpg. But that didn't pan out. Why? Possibly because most of my distance driving this summer was over the mountains.
Much of what I reported back then was for the whole trip, not just for a few miles on the freeway. It's easy to get good mpg doing about 63 mph, but at higher speeds, or in city traffic, not.
The worst offenders for mpg appear to be (a) stop lights and stop signs, and (b) ramps where you use a lot of gas to get up to speed.
My first good mpg came at speeds of about 45 mph when I baby'd the car. Then I started going faster.
Problem was, back then, that driving 55-60 on the freeway was dangerous. It may still be.

I live in Canada (plus my house is on top of the hills) and I get 17.1-18.6 on avg with my C300, I like to floor it which probably doesn't help!

I'm finding that I get way lower than claimed in the city (17mpg-ish) but a lot higher on the highway (30ish). Although having a stickshift does give me the opportunity to drive conservatively, I'm not very good at it.
