Question What type of window tint

I have a black on black C350 and I want to tint the windows. I am leaning towards 35% but I heard there are different materials
Can somebody explain to me what the difference is and which ones are better.
Thanks

Do a search on this topic. It's been discussed. Cliff note version is you have ceramic and metallic. Ceramic is supposed to cause less interference, but is more expensive. They both will look the same to the average person in the end however.

Can't tell you the difference between the brands. But as mentioned before ceramic doesn't interfere as much w/ electronics and signals. Some people have actually had worse radio reception with metallic.

I used a 35% ceramic and everything is fine. I think the brand is Formula One.

[QUOTE=Azn_C300;3013108] Ceramic is supposed to cause less interference,

Thank you for the info.
What you are saying is that both actually interfere. I have had tint on my previous cars but never noticed. I guess it could be related to cell phone use. I didn't like to drive and talk but now I have blue-tooth which I must say is brilliant.

Thank you all for the info.
Ceramic sounds like the best choice.

Ceramic does not cause interference (no metallic substance). I have also had metallic tint in the past and ceramic is much clearer than the metallic. Even the say day it is tinted- it is perfectly clear and no bubbles (maybe that was the installer)

I've never had any issues with interference, but some say they have. Mostly with radio.
