Anybody heard of this "official" MB forum? I don't even own an MB and I got an invitation to it. All I know is I requested a brochure from mbusa.com about the W204 (and I never got it, sweet!).

Yeah, I've been on it for a few months now. Seems like a nice idea as there are online discussions with design reps for the different models, etc. It seems like a great forum to actually give productive feedback directly to "someone" at Mercedes. Here's hoping it accomplishes something!

Generation Benz is more of a marketing thing for Mercedes; it's not really a place to get info on wheels or whatever. That's what I like about it - there's a better chance we can influence new products.
I don't know how or why they sent me an email about joining, but maybe in the future I'll get a Benz.

ya, s2ki.com (honda s2000) has official honda people on that forum. probably the best forum i've ever been on. they had a meet at the honda headquarters in torrance and people had opinions on the s2k and based off those, changes were made on the car in the later years.
although now the car is cheaper in the used market it got a little too fanboy for me. so here i am, lol.

Mercedes C300 Sport, BMW 745Li, VW Mk6 Golf TDI
So I got an email from Generation Benz asking me to fill out a service survey they had for a free gift. I figured why not. Just got my free gift...a Tourneau Mercedes watch! Another watch for the collection, although it's the worst of the collection :p Not too shabby though for filling out radio boxes online.
