New guy here - Just picked up an 08 C350
Hello everyone. I just picked up a new 08 C350 on Monday. Black on black with P2, MM package, Panorama sunroof, iPod, Tele Aid, 18 AMG wheels. Walked out the door with it for 40,XXX and 2.9%. This car is amazing and worth every penny. How's everyone doing today?

Thanks guys. YES, I'm VERY ready to do some mods. I'm still trying to absorb everything in this forum. I'm all ears if you guys have suggestions.
I'll have some nice pics ready tomorrow when I finally get it out of the garage.

There are some good deals to have out there. I didn't even haggle with the salesman. He simply asked if I liked it and then gave me the price which no sane man could refuse.

Do you recommend having the dealership install it? How obtrusive is it going to look on a black car?

Are you asking about the clear bra? I'd find out who they're using and go to them directly. That way you can get the same quality while cutting out the middle man. It's not like Mercedes does it themselves. Do this as your very first thing before you start getting any form scratches and chips. I heard the roads in Chicago can be pretty harsh with debris so I'd suggest getting the full hood, bumper, fender, but it's up to you.

I think it's simple/classy, but still pretty mean looking. Looks a bit like the C63 wheels.
And it's around $1300. Not too $$.

Reason I suggest the protective film first is before you start getting scratch and chips on your paint. All the other stuff can be added anytime after. Bra is the only time sensitive mod.
If you're looking to spend lots of money, get some coilovers to drop it and eliminate the wheel gap (and if you don't got lots of money, then just get lowering springs). Then get yourself some C63 AMG big brakes (as Brembo doesn't have our size yet). Paint the tail lights. Get the Euroteck front lip coming out in the next week(s). 20" HRE Monobloks. Resonator delete with X-pipe. Quad exhaust (including diffuser to match). Powerchip. New door pins. C63 stearing wheel upgrade. Schatz panel and shifter upgrade. Brabus puddle lights. HID fogs. etc etc etc
