Auto window up issue - 08 C350

Last couple days I've noticed the auto up feature not working on my front windows.

First it was the drivers side. It would not go up unless I held it and then it would go down a little bit once it was at the top. Press up again and the window would shut all the way.

The driver side issue went away and now it's happening on the passenger side. Same issue.

Car is little over a month old.

I checked the window tracks, etc to make sure there was nothing hindering the window. I did not see anything.

I did get the windows tinted about a week after picking up the car but it was not a problem till now. I do no see anything from the window tinting that would cause an issue.

Anyone ever have this problem? I'm gonna have to schedule a dealership visit to look at some blemishes on the paint so I'll have them check the windows as well.

Reprogramming this feature is described in the owner's manual.

Reprogramming all four plus the sunroof (does the same thing once in awhile) might take you five minutes.

This little hiccup is not exactly unknown and even my 2001 did it from time to time.

04 Civic Hopefully an 00-02 E55 one day
I'm guessing dry window seals causing "friction" almost similar to if someone was keeping the window from going up. Good luck

Bingo. That is exactly it. Every Mercedes I've driven does this at least once or twice.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try re-programing it myself.

Friction?

Nope. It's a problem with a memory module. Sooner or later it will have to be replaced. Warranty, of course.

Any one who has purchased a pre-'08 MB in the last 8 years or so knows all about memory modules.

Been having the same issue on my 09 C350, very annoying. Just happens on the drivers side window. Anyone have a permanent solution?
