H&R lowering springs aren't low enough!!

Man... is it just me? I think the H&R springs aren't low enought. I have the H&R and 19" wheels with 35 series tires... but still have a small gap in between. Does anyone else think the same?

as I've stated multiple times on multiple forums, H&R sport springs are not low enough...two finger wheel gap.... Go with super sports or get coilovers.

Thanks Azn.... I appreciate the input! Ya... i have the super sport, but still not low enough.... Either I get some coilovers.. or make a really low set of springs....

if you have the super sports, let them settle for a few weeks? I've seen some pretty good right height with those...unless you want it tucked. In which case, go get yourself some coilovers.

ya.. i had them for about a couple of months now... I think I'm looking for the tucked look... so maybe just gotta go get some coilovers or make me some really low springs... but don't know if i can get the right rate with a low drop height...

thanks azn..

I guess you can try cutting your springs. I personally wouldn't do that, but if budget is an issue and you're more concerned with looks than ride quality...

And tucked look isn't proprietary JDM...lots of Euros can sport that look.

Ya.... I wouldn't cut the springs... Plus you can't cut the rear's.. its like a football shaped spring. Yeah, coilovers cost a pretty penny, but with that kind of money I could probably develope some really agressive drop height springs with a quiality ride since I work for a spring manufacturer... Then I could maybe get the springs out there for other customers like myself that like the tuck look.

hey I'm looking for the same exact drop you want but no one has broken the ice. Are you happy with 19's covering up wheel well space? I was thinking of going 20's to get more tuck and that way it fills up more space but not sure if I will have big rubbing issues...

wow, you are not happy with your super sport H&R? they are pretty low already (of course, not as low as the H&R racing springs on BMWs).
I think Mercedes just sit higher than BMWs.
Anyway, if you are still not happy with H&R SSS. Then, there is KW and Bilstein coilover set. I found it on the Taiwan Yahoo Auction.

Looks good! I am in the same boat. I have the H&R Sport with 19" and it is not as low as I want. I am thinking super sports and 20" perhaps. The rear looks good, can you take a pic of the front at a different angle?

Alex, did he rolled the fenders? Do I need to roll the fenders if I'm gonna put super sports with OEM 18"?

Thanks
