How to take the rear diffusor off

Hi

Does anyone know how to take the rear diffusor off? maybe show some pictures of it? I plan on painting the bottom strip the same color as my car, just lilke the CLS and CLK. What do you guys think?

Flame did a "how to" a while back. BTW-If you used the "search" option it was the first listing.
I thought about doing that a while back but thought it made it look like the lux model.

No No No, only the bottom "STRIP", not the whole diffusor. so the middle is still black.

i know it's one pices. but there is a .... bend, the bottom of that bend.

mask/tape the top portion and only paint the bottom strip. it's plastic, shouldn't be too hard, right?

Sounds about right I would assume you would prime it first, maybe a coat or two of clear coat after the paint has cured. Though if I would do this mod I would paint the whole piece. Be a trick to get an nice crisp line.
