Gun Storage

from the OP. I personally dont need to carry a gun in a car, but I also live in Canada and we dont have the same concerns. Our population is 30 Mill vs 300 Mill for you Americans. I also dont think you MB owners are the type you just pull out a gun. That being said, guns are a big problem in the US vs Can for a reason. It might have something to do with how easy it is to pick one up. To each there own...

But yeah... you don't need a gun until you mature some. Check back with us in about 10 years.
There are plenty of "****" that carry. And, thankfully, most of them use fully formed words and sentences. Frankly - it is your ytpe of attitude that gives the 2nd amendment crowd a bad rep.
Believe me, my life worth more than any car or any material thing, that is why I have INSURANCE to cover all my belongings

personally I would stay away from those that carry consealed weapon. I do enjoy going to firing range once a while.
Oh!
Well, here in Washington State, I know a fellow who always packs 2 weapons, both automatics. In his sports car, I guess that's not too hard to do. On his motorcycle, that's more interesting.
prohibits automatics unless LEO, military, or acquired prior to the prohibition

We're not gonna change each others' minds here, but the OP's question is legitimate. I'm going to look into the console safe. If I find anything good, I'll let you guys know...

No, as I noted in a previous post, I carry when in the USA--not in Japan. You're absolutely right, though, about the only people carrying weapons here. It definitely supports the idea that when guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns. Fortunately, with regard to violent acts carried out against complete strangers, it's a very different world over here. Yes, I have known folks who were beat up and robbed because they were foreigners, but I can feel safe here walking down the street alone late at night with a pocket full of cash. btw, I appreciate the fact that most of the posters here are being respectful of others' beliefs and rights. Too bad about the others.
I think I remember seeing a much less expensive one which you can mount in the trunk, but I don't think this is what you're after, right?
There don't seem to be a lot of options out there...http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...121&hasJS=true
I have a CWP and I carry a gun from time to time depending on where I think I may be. I would not even consider pulling it out until my life or your life is in danger. In that situation, I will be ready to act accordingly and lawfully understanding the responsibility and certain limits I have as a CWP holder. You see, CWP holders are said to be the most law abiding citizens in the US. What others who have commented on this thread are worried about are thugs and punks who are carrying guns without a permit looking for trouble. Big difference. Who knows, maybe I will save your life one day out on the streets.Back to the original post. The glove box is really to small and the gun falls out when opened. Best place is the cargo net next to passengers foot or pocket in the door.

Saks 350 sport, I'm anxious to learn which safe it is you're using... I'd also like to see a pic if possible.
