Until you mature a lot you don't need any firearms.

I know this is from the OP. I personally dont need to carry a gun in a car, but I also live in Canada and we dont have the same concerns. Our population is 30 Mill vs 300 Mill for you Americans. I also dont think you MB owners are the type you just pull out a gun. That being said, guns are a big problem in the US vs Can for a reason. It might have something to do with how easy it is to pick one up. To each there own...

So let me get this straight (no pun intended)... you are only concerned about a HOMOSEXUAL MALE car jacking you...?!?!

But yeah... you don't need a gun until you mature some. Check back with us in about 10 years.

Please don't associate yourself with an intelligent gun carrying citizen.

There are plenty of "****" that carry. And, thankfully, most of them use fully formed words and sentences. Frankly - it is your ytpe of attitude that gives the 2nd amendment crowd a bad rep.

Do other people have trouble laughing and crying at the same time? I have heard that some people will laugh as a response to terror.

This is my first post (i've been lurking about waiting for my 300 to be delivered) but anyways back in 96 I was carjacked at gunpoint at the time I was driving a highly customized Caddy, earlier that day I pawned my gun and later on that night I was jacked. To make a long story short I ended up jumping out as they slowed to go over some railroad tracks and as I crossed the highway in front of them they attempted to hit me with my own car then fired 2 shots at me. After the incident I was angry and wished I had my gun. I would replay that night in my head shooting everyone. But now in retrospect I'm glad I didn't have my gun or there would have been 3-4 dead people that night and 3-4 family's forever changed by a brightly painted car. But on the other hand as soon as I return to the U.S. I will have a Sig on the side of my seat because its better to have and not need, than to need and not have and plus now I have a family which I feel is the only thing worth dying and killing over.

ssodaboi,

If a gunfight ensued, what makes you think you would have come out alive? You're wishful thinking.

often shooting occur when ppl get into argument when in accident or any type of situation where temper raise and someone has a consealed weapon in their car. AND often those that carry consealed weapon doesn't do it because they live in bad neighborhood. they carry because they can.

personally I would stay away from those that carry consealed weapon. I do enjoy going to firing range once a while.

Oh!

Well, here in Washington State, I know a fellow who always packs 2 weapons, both automatics. In his sports car, I guess that's not too hard to do. On his motorcycle, that's more interesting.
chance are they're not packing 'automatics' but rather, semi-automatics. WA
prohibits automatics unless LEO, military, or acquired prior to the prohibition
several decades ago.

You are allowed to have guns in a car in Japan? Has the end of your little finger been cut off, by chance?

Possibly but due to my position in the car (right rear corner) and the fact the driver had the gun, I think my chances would have been high. And anyways I said at the time i was angry i think anyone would have felt and thought the same same way I did after being violated in that way.

LOL! No, as I noted in a previous post, I carry when in the USA--not in Japan. You're absolutely right, though, about the only people carrying weapons here. It definitely supports the idea that when guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns. Fortunately, with regard to violent acts carried out against complete strangers, it's a very different world over here. Yes, I have known folks who were beat up and robbed because they were foreigners, but I can feel safe here walking down the street alone late at night with a pocket full of cash.

btw, I appreciate the fact that most of the posters here are being respectful of others' beliefs and rights. Too bad about the others.

The only thing I've found so far is the console vault http://www.consolevault.com/, but they don't make one which specifically fits our C classes. They're aimed primarily at the SUV market.
I think I remember seeing a much less expensive one which you can mount in the trunk, but I don't think this is what you're after, right?

Or maybe this one from Cabela's? There don't seem to be a lot of options out there...

I like how the ignorant canadian likes to tell us here in America what we should or should not do. Please, worry about your Global Warming problems your Government has been forcing down your throat and we will worry about our rights here in America. BTW, nice photo. I have a CWP and I carry a gun from time to time depending on where I think I may be. I would not even consider pulling it out until my life or your life is in danger. In that situation, I will be ready to act accordingly and lawfully understanding the responsibility and certain limits I have as a CWP holder. You see, CWP holders are said to be the most law abiding citizens in the US. What others who have commented on this thread are worried about are thugs and punks who are carrying guns without a permit looking for trouble. Big difference. Who knows, maybe I will save your life one day out on the streets.

Back to the original post. The glove box is really to small and the gun falls out when opened. Best place is the cargo net next to passengers foot or pocket in the door.

Hey, this is a good point. If you got a piece of closed cell foam rubber (the stuff folks use to outfit kayaks & canoes), you could easily make a custom-fit holder for your door pocket. It would be right there within reach, too. All you need is a felt tip marker, a utility knife, and coarse sandpaper or "shark skin".

Saks 350 sport, I'm anxious to learn which safe it is you're using... I'd also like to see a pic if possible.

I just simply want the option to shoot the sh*t out of you if you threaten my life or anyone in my family's life. I'd rather have a gun and not need it than need a gun and not have it.
