My car is going in today to get the whole windshield tinted... I can't wait.

I have 35% on the doors and 20% on the rear window.

I'm doing 35% on the windshield!

I know its not legal so save any of that. I've done it before and I can see just fine.

 

Iv always wanted to do it. Im worried about driving at night in low light area's and not being able to see. I would love to see some pic's of your car when its done. You live in C-town, you should come up to Van for a W204 meet so we can see your car. I wouldn't promote what your gona do, the last thing we need is idiots you cant drive and see. But if you have done it before and with no problems, go for it.

 

i have done it on my teo vehicles before this, my friend did it first and i liked it, now i know many who have done it, its not as bad as you would think, i barley notice it.

 

how long do you think it will take until you get pulled over?

 

i had my front windshield tinted on my rsx-s and i got pulled over a bunch of times. i just told them i bought the car like that lol its too much of a hassle, i was always paranoid when i saw a cop. but if you can get away with it, it makes the car look really clean IMO.

Ya I can see that. From inside you cant really tell much, but from out side it must be noticeable right? But im sure it looks great. Maybe I will muster up the curage one day and try it. After all you can always have it removed.

 

did you take off the MB sticker on the windshield. I want to tint my windshield too, but I'm afraid that when I take off the tint (because of hassle from police) the sticker's gonna come off.

 

I had to have the sticker removed, i was going to replace it but i like the clean look, its still at the shop, it will look dark but saweeeeeeeeeeet, I will post pics.

Ha it matters but i do it anyway, i live in a nice area, they don't really harass you unless your speading or look like you don't belong

I have 35% on the windows and 50% on the windshield. I got stopped for speeding last month. I thought I was f#$%ed and I even had my windows up when he approached me. Cop didn't say **** about my tinting, but he did get me for not having a front plate. I got lucky.

I am from NY and I had limo tints on my M3 convertible with 35 on the windshield and got pulled over every other week...but the real toruble was when I was going through the toll booth and the laser couldnt pick up my Eazy-pass because of the tint on the windshiedl almost took out my whole front with the metal bar that goes up....
