X-pipe installed today!
oook i bought the pipe for $65 not too bad," installed for $150 not that good". i was excited as hell goin to the shop after work just dyin to hear my car. i must say not oo happy, i dont really think it was worth the $$. there is def a change in sound but nothin crazy maybe cuz i have a c300 idk.. if im steady on the throttle and let the rpm's rise gradually theres noo change at ll.. the only time i hear it is if i press hard on the throttle "accelerate hard" and it kicks in around like 3000 rpm. and what i really dont like is that its louder inside my car also.. i dont wanna bad mouth it, some people may like this but i could of lived without it. I'm not gonna remove it im just gonna learn to like it

I removed the stock resonator on my previous car and regret doing it.
It was a 3.0L V6 and the sound from the outside was nice, deep and rich sounding without being obnoxiously loud, however there was a very annoying drone or reverb in the interior which was very noticable and loud, even though it was replaced by two glasspack resonators. The only advantage was that removing the stock resonator saved 50 pounds.
I'm not touching my exhaust on my C at all, maybe getting the dual tips with the C63 diffuser (only if it doesn't require reworking the exhaust system).

white and whiter
if you checked into the x-pipe thread. the C300 and C350 produce a different tone when using the x-pipe because of the displacement difference. the C300 with x-pipe sounds raspy while the C350 has a deeper tone.
on the 350 you get a slightly deeper/louder tone outside the cabin and only when WOT it is really obvious that it's different than stock. If you go with any aftermarket muffler or cat-back exhaust they all produce more noise in the cabin at all rpm, not just WOT.

you order it from CarKingTuning and you would get it in 2 business day priority mail. Bought the combo roof and trunk painted for $330
