After all, if I'm going 150 next to a SL63, I'd like to be able to brake in case of emergency just as well, regardless of HP difference

Brembo sport pads will generate less dust than what you have now....

Personally, I'm doing it for aesthetic value. I don't like the baby calipers in front and especially the ones in the rear. But regardless, no need to hate. Just providing information to those who are interested.

Ya sometimes it doesnt have to be "practical" to make sense.
Our cars come with perfectly fine rims and tires from the factory yet we swap them out for something else... Why? Simply because it looks good and as already said for aesthetics.

You don't have to buy the full kit and just buy individual front or back obviously. 6Kish is about normal for a full kit (calipers, slotted rotors, pads) though (around 3.5k for fronts, 2.5k for rears). Of course, if you're a cheap ***, you can always just get caliper cover.

Damn you guys are making me second think posting more expensive mod info I get on mbworld and stick with info I get from taiwan makers :p

Azn_C300....

Actually I did not know that... Thanks... but for me i think i'd still like the AMG ones just for the factory look (and no greif from the dealer when going in for stuff)

Because you would be a poser? Or is there a danger involved?
