Chevron has worked the best for me. Shell has been the worst for me. Depending on actual location, your mileage may vary.
Strangely enough when we live in Hawaii and driving a BMW it was the other way around.

I can only get 91, which sucks. I sure wish I could get 93 or 94 whatever you guys get.
I would always go to Chevron, but it's much more expensive for me (about 20 cents per gallon).
I use Shell 91 most of time. Sometimes I use 76's 91. Both are on the top tier gasoline lists alongside Chevron that was assembled by auto makers including BMW.

Exxon 91 and Chevron 91, depending on whether I fill up near work, or near home.
Here's a link for those of you in Cali for 100 octane

Oh, and do a blend if you ever go to one of those spots.
1/3 of your tank in 100-octane (4-5 gallons), and top off with 91. Should give you about a 94-95 octane rating.

I usually use these brands. A couple of tanks ago I put in a lesser brand, same 92 octane, and immediately felt less power and experienced worse mpg. I'm now on the 2nd fillup post that and the mpg is coming back; maybe another tank?
Might be there was more water in that off-brand gas? I've used it in other cars without problem, but then I've never had the running mpg computer before ;-)
