Thats great news ... but i want coilovers. I guess they are making progress though. Good post, thanks.
biggest difference is non-adjustable vs. adjustable.

It's the same with W203. H&R only release the 4Matic springs in German and you basically just need to find a retailer in German that's willing to ship it to the US for you like I did with my W203. The shipping cost is almost another set of springs tho.Originally Posted by bigigg

noob question but can someone post springs vs. coilovers to me, i know
coilover is spring + shock which can adjust height and damping.

does it affect comfort as far as smooth ride? or just hight level? is that what the shocks in the coilovers do is perserve the smoothness or does our stock shocks do that anyways?Originally Posted by white46

on coilovers, spring adjusts height of the car and shock adjusts ride quality(damping).
usually for coilovers, there is little knob on top of the shock which is used for manually adjusting damping force. from soft setting to stiff.
from 09 w204 (for US and Canada), agility control is there (not sure whether it is std or opt) which adjusts damping of each shocks electronically depending on how it is driven.
