Discounts off MSRP in Toronto area?
So far I absolutely love the car!
MB Mississauga treated me right - I would highly recommend them. They were great to deal with, and even threw in a few gifts when I picked up the vehicle - a full set of winter mats, a couple of MB keychains and a nice MB car mug.
But that's it.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
This is my first post so I want to first say hi to everyone and give a brief intro of myself. My family has traditionally been an Acura family. I drive a 06 csx, my father an 06 TL and my mom had an 04 MDX but that is now taken by my younger brother to university.
I went with my mom to see the C class and GLK yesturday and test drove both of them. We are leaning towards the C230 4 matic for her because she has always like the W204 since introduction. Also cause there's no room to negotiate on the new GLK it seems.
The sales person at MB Mississauga said that there is a $2000 cash incentive on it right now. I am just wondering if that means there is still room to neogitate maybe another $1,500 or something on top of that? I'm asking because for Acura's, the cash incentive does not cut into dealer margins so they still have room (like 8%) to play with but I didn't know if its the same with mercedes.
I don't think we're too good at negotiating because we've had the same Acura sales person for many years and he would basically show us the dealer invoice and say how much they would like to make on the vehicle and we don't haggle after because it's already a healthy 7% ish off MSRP.
Any help and pointers would be apprecaited. Really excited for my mom because she has always dreamed of owning a mercedes but past misconceptions about reliability or whatnot has made us stick to Acura's. I want her to get a good deal because I will pay for half of the car for her as a gift (i think that's all i can afford right now).
I was the one who test drove the car as my mom doesn't like driving car's thats not her own. (she gets nervous). The C230 is a good fit for her because of the 4matic for winter and the ride quality over bumps is so much better than any Acura we've ever owned (makes acura feels like skateboards when going over bumps). The car is quite slow though but our priority is a quiet, safe and comfortable ride. Any tips would be appreciated. Sorry for the long post >_<

Bought my C300 4matic with keyless go from MB Mississauga in early May and got the $2K cash incentive plus over $2800 off MSRP. OTD was exactly $49K.
.. thanks again!
Some brands are having a sh*tty time, but MB Canada is having record sales - best year ever so far. They aren't seriously going to discount with that position.
