Vinyl wrapping my entire car in Matte white
I was thinking about wrapping the entire car in a Matte white with some matte black accents, I want to lower the car and put the Eurotech CF lip and some Turbine style AMG wheels on it, has anyone ever seen that that color? what your opinions on this? if someone can find photos let me know.

Any AMG Thats Around..
i was going to do this as well... different colors.... but everyone else in the shop told me that.... its going to be a absolute nightmare taking the vinyl off...
I have had to remove vinyl decals before and sometimes it comes off in very little pieces and leaves glue everywhere.... So, do i want to risk the finish on my near perfect car... and take possably quite a few hours or days removing all of it??? I Dont know...

The pros use satin clear. A quick grey scotchbrite of all panels, mask, and shoot. Not too costly. Often used on show cars.
I've seen pics of the vinyl and way too many edges to peel is day-to-day use so probably a waste of money.
Nor sure if the satin clear will polish back to high gloss.

white and whiter
lol at the cheap alternative comment.
I asked about this at SEMA as this company that was doing demo on a F430 doing complete vinyl cover up on how much it would cost. They said basic single color job would usually be around $2000-3000 depending on what type of car and the difficulties.
this is when I wish we're in Asia or Europe where it can be done at half the price.
good vinyl such as Avery products or 3M goes on in one piece and comes off in one piece. glue residue are minimal on those. my friend had the matte black roof vinyl using Avery vinyl for a year and 3 month and the vinyl came off completely clean and left no residue.

i have been doing some asking in Germany, where all Taxi(s) are vinyl wrapped, runs about 1500-2000 euro on average. was interested myself, on matte blk, but seems like there are few that want to do the same, so i might choose a different matte color to go wit.
here is a link for those in Germany

I'm going to drive over there tonight and see if I can get a quote for my whole hood in clear as I don't like the line I have right now. As well as get a quote for a friend's C350 and another's M3 sedan. I'll let you know tomorrow what thier prices are like.

I think vinyl wrapping is a great idea
but I'm not so sure if matt white will look good.
IMO I think it make your car like you only sprayed primer.
I'd go for matt black or dark grey. just off inspirations of an US ATF

Here some pics of my vinyl wrapped matte/flat white c300 with black accents...
I did a few extra mods to it one which is adding a c63 amg rear diffuser with quad exhaust
its a very interesting color, definitely a head turner
only problem with it is that matte white is probably the hardest color to maintain i have to get a car wash twice a week just to keep it lookin clean
and over time smudges appear which are very hard to take off and start getting used to alot of dust from the brakes and exhaust on the rear part of the car which is very noticable after 20 min of driving
more pics will come soon i got keyed so i have to re-wrap some doors before i take new pics
hope you enjoy

Old thread but thanks for providing insight into what a matte white w204 would look like. I think it sounds like a headache to live with so I'm glad I went full matte black on mine.
