You should definitely, without a doubt, get a no-cost loaner. My dealer would never even think of not providing a loaner car. Seriously--why did you buy a Benz in the first place? Quality, safety and customer service.

Sorry if this is repetitious info
That's also the case here in Florida, you only get a loaner from the dealership you bought the vehicle from. I took my 09 C350 into a dealer that was closer than the one I bought it from for something covered under warranty (DVD-LCD Screen Malfunction) and they wouldn't provide me with a loaner.

What good is a car if it spends three weeks in a shop awaiting a tool that thee dealer should have on hand?
You are completely unrealistic - why don't you try investing the capital in tools that you will barely use once per year.

If we carried every tool necessary to fix everything on every car, not only would we have a warehouse bigger than the dealership to house them, but we would have all capital tied up in tools that never get used..

I always get loaner car for service in east Hampton,ny.
But first time, the loaner car was very dirty, and when I pick up my car..some bird drops on it.I think mb should wash our car when we pick it up ...that's not nice when u pick up your car and see your car hv bird drops on it.

Well my car is in the shop and when I asked about a loaner they told me I wouldn't get one until the fifth day of sevice per DACO (Consumer Affairs Department) regulations. What's the situation at the various dealers? Whenever my dad took in the Navigator he got a Mercury, which is not the same but it's still a car. I know a loaner is kind of a favor a privilige if you will, but it sucks being stuck at the house on vacaction. I had fantasies about taking the new C-Series to the track.
