**Carbon mirror covers installed... pics!
I received my carbon fibre mirror covers today.
The fitment isnt very great and they didnt come with double sided tape.
I went and got the best kind ( industrial 3m tape .. holds up to 5 pounds)
I had to put 3 layers of tape on top of eachother because the mirror cover wouldnt stick with just one layer . . . ghetto.. they shoudlve made it better.
Anyway, i got it to fit nicely and it looks really nice on a white car with my pano roof and tints. I'll get more pics tomorrow.. here's just a preview from my garage.

how do you get the weaves to match on the two seperate sections? is it to different pieces?
also, can you post some side view shots...
so far i like the frontal view best... makes the car look a little meaner

2013 C300 Sport Black Darth V3.0
The weave going in different directions doesn't bother me any longer in fact I sort of like it. Since the smaller peice is on a lower level the contrast is nice. Of course I like yours also the ultimate would be a one piece but that is not available.

I've been watching Entourage lately, and Seth Green is in this season and looks like a total DOUCHE midget
some full on side profiles from at least 15 feet back, and maybe some more high quality pics from the front??

K ive decided ill more than likely go with this mod because itll look nice with my cf door pillars and saw these on ebay for about $150 i think ?? Quick question which 3M tape should i get to make sure these suckers dont go flying off and where can i get the tape if i may ask to those who have used the tapes already

Any of the big auto part chains (Autozone, Autobarn, Pep Boys) carries the 3M tape it is grey and comes in a couple of different widths and carious lengths. When I installed mine I used the 1/4 inch width. My covers also had inlays where the tape should be installed just clean both the covers and the mirrors with rubbing alcohol before installing.
