Angry Scratched my rim. Any touch up prods available?

wanted to make a right turn, but the cars
in front of me (going straight ahead) were blocking.

tried to pass on the right, but not enough space.

girlfriend said to just use a bit of the sidewalk.

the moment i did it, i knew i shouldn't have listened.
The angle (to get the wheel on the sidewalk)was not sharp enough..

So I F'ed up a rim: Some scratched & even a bit of a "hole"...

Any products out there to touch up alu rims?
Have no experience at all, as always drove cars with plastic hubcaps.

Pleased to hear.

Now excuse me while i go & shoot mself

Cheers,
Egon

there does seem to be some sort of coating on the wheels....

I didn't look at it too long, thinking that maybe if i wasn't
looking the problems wasn't there either.
(but denial only gets you so far...)

I shall take some pics tomorrow.
Or maybe i'll have my girlfriend do it,
since it was all HER fault anyway

Now excuse me while i go drown myself.

Wurth also makes a German alloy silver spray paint for wheels.

I have used stuff in the past that was the consitancy of playdough and used to patch up roughed up metal, plumbing, HVAC, etc, etc. There was one brand made for alloy wheels that I used to patch the alloys on my '89 Ponitac Sunbird...I can hear you laughing now but it was my first new car...
It is a base agent and catalyst that you kneed together and then apply to the gouge, scrape or cut. Anyhow, once you kneed it together you have a few minutes to work with it. Wait for about 10 mins before painting.
I really doubt this look as good as a wheel expert but it could be a very cheap option. I was told at the time it was really the exact same stuff used to make plumbing repairs?? I will try to look it up and let you know.

Wheels America can repair your wheel or can exchange it for 100 to 200 dollars. give them a try. have used them in the past on two Acura's. i have not used them for my Benz. They have a website. www.wheelsamerica.com

Can't exactly tell from the photos, but does it look like they're painted and that the paint has been pushed away from the metal?? If the metal is undamaged, then your options change.

it's definitley the metal that's damaged.

like the idea of using the damaged rim as a spare,
but that means buying a new one,
since the original spare rim is just for "getting home".

have to go back to the garage anyway for multiple issues
so will 1st see with them if they can fix it.

If not will look into one of these touch up products.

Thanks again for all the input.

Too bad they don't seem to make anything for chrome lips.
