New W204 owner here

Hey guys. Just signed the contract for a brand new C 320 CDI 4M in palladiumsilver (almost) fully loaded. Just had a W203 C 220 CDI station wagon but I missed some power so I decided to go for a new ride (still got the C43 AMG).

Here are some pics, will get the car tomorrow at the dealer (sorry for the crappy pics...iphone....)

Was a great day for me

Very nice and Congrats........here's to enjoying the power....

One quick question, how come you have the AMG car mats ?

I have a 09 C350, almost fully loaded, with the AMG package, but no AMG mats !

Are we here in the US and Canada not getting what we should, did anyone else on this side of the pond get AMG mats ?

Not wanting to take away from your original post, just a simple yes or no, will be adequate, we can start a new thread on this if it becomes a hot item of discussion.....?

Cheers

Thanks guys...can't wait til 3pm (CET).

About the floor mats. Here in Europe we get the AMG floor mats if we order AMG package (know that because I worked 10 yrs at this MB dealer). So I duno why you guys over there don't get them!

I much prefer the covered bin vs. our cup holders as well. Wonder what the part would cost??

same here...but it looks like the whole center would have to be replaced....since ours has curves compared to the str8 line cup holders in eu cars

C320 CDI 4matic Brabus D6(III), Black.(SOLD). Current - EQE 350 W295
Congratulations!! I got mine last week (same as yours but in black) already done 1780kms and the more I drive it the more I like it... I also have the AMG floor mats but in Alpaca Grey (same as the interior) - not the best colour for floor mats although they look very good.

One thing I have noticed on mine is that the gear selector has no LEDs to show which gear is selected i.e. P R N or D... I suppose it is a 2009 feature (or lack of ) I assume yours is the same?

Well I bought the C220 CDI last year because I thought the fuel consumption would be great (need the car for work 20k Km per year minumum). But I had way too much problems with the car..bluetooth didn't work well, APS 50 sucked like hell, brakes made noises, parktronic sometimes was on vacation, remote controll on the key was dead and I needed way too much diesel etc.
It was the old engine with 150 hp and as for me I never want that again. I need power if I want to overtake plus if I pay 85k!!!!!!! for a C220 CDI T everything HAS TO WORK.....!!

IMO W/S203 sucked (my old W202 has 165k KM on it and NO problems) so I hope the W204 is way better lol

in Hong Kong, our AMG pack also nets us a free set of AMG floormats. I also squeezed a cup holder for free, fits inside the covered storage area just behind the gear lever
