Group buy has started here: https://mbworld.org/forums/group-pur...ml#post3243148

Pictures on my own W204:

I have a ****ty camera, but you can definately see how much whiter (and imo, less green) the LEDs are than the PolarG bulbs. You can also see the better brightness because of the extra reflection the LED gets in the light unit itself.

No dash warning:

Sweet, it looks really great!

Hey ctgilles, do you think it is possible to let me know the total weight of 4 bulbs plus packaging? I need to know so I can check how much is shipping.

Thanks bro!

ctgilles,

the color comparison photo of the LED is less whiter than the Polarg bulbs. The LED seem more blue than white. Am I color blind...?! I'm just a bit confused because, unlike your explanation they definitely are more bluish in color to me. And lastly, what are the resistors needed in parallel? how are they fitted (or simply connected?) I thought they were not required... irregardless of no error indication. Just want to make sure.

BTW, big thanks for the prep, pix and PM. Really appreciate your support here!

You are correct they are more blueish white. The PolarG bulbs are more greenish white, due to the bulbs emitting warm yellow light and the casing being blue.

I am -only a bit- colorblind, I see the difference and it is whiter and brighter to me. I have not changed the photo's color in any way but all depends on the colorscheme my POS cam uses.

I'll try to make a picture tonight with the Xenons on. They are OEM Xenons so you will be able to compare colors a it more. These are rated 4500K, that's nearly OEM Xenon color.

There is a resistor to cancel out the warning message, but it is fitted to the LED itself and therefore plug'n'play. They are soldered to it on the base.

Hi ctgilles!

Just posted in the group buy thread. Put me down for a set! Only thing I need to know is how much to Paypal to you for delivery to Singapore.

Thanks for laying out the groundwork for this to happen! Hopefully this should help solve this long-standing issue...

I think it might be best to get 2 extra LEDs in case of a breakdown? I know I am doing that

To Singapore is the same as to the USA.

I will need a bit extra time to send the LEDs, it seems I will need to complete a lot of customs forms Have to inform a bit to make sure none of you get dumb import taxes Unless they need to get insured then I can't send them as a $20 gift.

I'm interested, how much would it cost for a set plus two extra bulbs? Also how much is shipping to Canada?

I'm assuming $44 plus shipping would be a pair of two? and we would need four of them. so $88 plus shipping. cheaper than the OEM parts from Japan.

I'm calculating everything in euros FrankW, I tried in dollars but the echange rates are going crazy I would have to adjust the price every day... It's possible that in just 2 days, the price would vary more than 5 dollars and that's just crazy work. Plus Paypal rips me on the exchange rate and another time when I withdraw the funds to my account.

Hope that clears it up

yea, i know you posted in Euro currency.

what I mean is if the price is for a set of two LED bulbs or a set of four LED bulbs. since the eyelid use two on each side I believe.

That is correct! See your PM box

I have made a mistake in pricing (someone mispaid and I just copy pasted that amount of money ) Therefore I have forwarded a PM to everyone in the GB hope this clears things up.

Sorry it's morning here and I didn't wake up so it seems

I am thinking the 10% in EURO also. I am thinking more like 76 EURO for 8 LEDs ship to US including S&H. Thats about $106.

I really don't know the Paypal exchange rates!

40,5 EURO per W204 eyelid+numberplate set (6 LEDs) + 15 EURO s&h + 10% Paypal ripoff = 61,05 EURO if I am not mistaken. That's more or less $85.

8 LEDs would set you back around $105 (75,9 EURO)

Exchange rates VARY A LOT. If you check them you might be getting a better deal it's amazing how much they go up and down

Mind you these were taken with my ****ty camera. It really warps the colors quite a bit, they are brighter and a more cool white than the greenish PolarG's. But for some reason they look so blueish in the pictures.

I'm thinking of ordering extra sets for me to do the interior lights aswell. I know it's a tad expensive but it looks so cool

I really need another camera first!
