Changing OEM Xenon bulbs

He loved the X5... Sticking to people's bumpers, using the bi-xenon to get them to move... He like his cars a-social 
Really like the Philips bulbs and especially because you just know they're quality. But that price
Even if they're double as good as the no-names... They're still overpriced...

Great thread here on factory fitted Bi-Xenons. Anyone has any problems with water droplets/condesation in the light assembly after bulb replacement? I am thinking of changing to a 6000K Philips. Thanks.

No. I always put some extra "grease" on the rubber to ensure a perfect seal. Use the correct grease and your rubber seal will last longer instead of getting all dry and cracking. When that has happened just go to a hardware store or garage for a new seal, it's inevitable..

I have a 2001 E320 with factory HID low beam. Can someone please share how to remove the D2R bulb? I read elsewhere in the forum that's its tricky and should let the dealer do so for $$$. Thanks!

Please does anyone have any take one this? I am only asking because I am thinking about changing out my bulbs to Philips d1s 4300k, because I have heard that Philips bulb puts out a more colder white than Osrams which puts out a bit more yellow at 4300k temp. Help anyone???

I believe factory ones are Philips and not Orsams.
Anyone have pictures of their 6000K and 8000K lights from outside? I have these links I can share with you guys for those of you interested in getting Philips. I just found them and e92-lighting said these just came out so no one has it on the market.

8000k. It's blueish, but not overly so and looks great with our projectors. Up close, they look more white, but from further back, you get a slight bluish tint. It's nowhere near purple. You will take a hit on visibility, but I've never had any problems to be honest at night.
