Dealer messed up! (Update! Not Good!)
So i went into the dealer over a month ago to get my TPMS sensors recalibrated. All was good until I was waxing the car friday and i noticed my front tires were 245's! So i checked the rears and they were 225's! WTF. Stupid Fletcher Jones MB of Las Vegas put my 8.5' rims in the front and 7.5 in the rear!!!!
I must say and ive said it before....Fletcher Jones MB Las Vegas is the worst Benz dealer in America, if not the world.
Poor Customer Service, Shady Sales Team, and Stupid Techs who aren't paying attention! :
--------------UPDATE 1/13/09-------------------
So I went into the dealer this morning before work. I asked for my service adviser. When he came over I explained to him nicely that when I brought my car in over a month ago for the TPMS sensors, they put on the 8.5" rims on the front and the 7.5" rims on the rear. His instant reaction was defensive.
"No, we wouldn't have done something like that....are you sure you didn't take it anywhere else after the service??"
I told him that my car is brand new and its was the first time id ever brought it in and that i have not taken it anywhere else. Then he goes off about how their techs would never do such a thing, explaining that they have so many cars with staggered setups, so they ALWAYS check.
I told him to please switch them back. He sits down and prints out the paper work and say...
"Theres no charge this time to put them back"
I was thinking WTF!..No charge??? Are you kidding!!! He was making it sound like he was doing me a favor by not charging me!!!
Anyways, I didn't receive any apologies for their mistake, but more importantly I made sure there was no weird thread wear from being "reverse" staggered.

That is pretty bad...the tech would pretty well have to be asleep not to notice that.

Get new pairs of tires from them for FREE. Make sure you get them . Plus they did put your life in danger by making this mistake. ( Even thoug not really but for argument sake ) I would use this (666) Handling of the car is effected by this.

Wow...that's a pretty big blunder to overcome from the dealership's perspective...all though they might say it's been over a month and "you did this yourself" mentality, but I think they will make it right with you...I would just suggest going in to your S.A. calmly and then point out what their technician did previoiusly...good luck and let us know how they compensate you.

I had the same experience after a tire rotation in the dealership. I got a TPMS warning sign when I was back to home from the dealer. I went back to the dealer and they did the tire rotation again.

Well, if you have directional tires on a staggared setup, then you can't rotate them at all!
