Has my car been lowered?

Hi everyone,
First post for me so here goes.
Basically I bought for the wife a C280 sport sometime ago and today i had some new wheels fitted in the dealership. Not AMG, but an 18" from the accessories book (easier to repair than the diamond finish!). I had also planned to put some springs in, to help with the look but then I am unsure if the previous owner my have already done this as he had made a few mods? Maybe from the pictures you can tell but I am not too sure. I have read over the threads on springs so if needed which do you think?

Cheers, her sis has one too on the AMG 18" and i know its stock so i compare the 2 tomorrow. I know there are lots of threads on the lowering springs but which would you suggest i go with considering i dont want a serious drop. ideally around 25mm??

Congrats on the new ride. I agree, it looks pretty much stock. The Eibach springs seem to be the choice for a mild drop. From what I understand, they also provide a bit softer ride than the H&R springs.

So i have been busy looking over the posts on the springs available and I am going to go for the supersports, running OEM 18" with a little more rubber I shouldn't lose too much comfort, but will the wife notice, thats the big question! it only does a mile or two a day so as long as it looks good

I ended up going with the eibach pro kit and the 5mm spring pads. Results are perfect for her everyday driving. I will probably put some 19's on near the summer so the less agressive drop may be better. Then put a Renntech module into my CLS which hasnt left the 2" drop setting as yet!
