I would do it for $10,000 but maybe another $1500-2000 for installation for that kind of power. I am still saving about $15000-20000 less than buying a C63.

Fitted my headers and cat today.... i thought it was an easy job, but it was about 3 hrs work... so it wasnt my lucky day.... but after fitting it i was glad spending 3 hrs on that thing!!!

The only thing that they were forgotten was a gasket between header and cat... so i had to go to a local shop to buy one!

Havent got time to make pictures, but it isnt that difficult, the only thing is that you havent got much space for your tools, so it isnt that easy to dismount your oem headers....

Havent driven much but for now i can say WOW... I feel that there is much more power and torque. My wife says WOW is that because of the headers?? She didnt know why i had to put some other headers on my car

Also in the mid range he is more powerfull.
And with my Brabus exhaust it gives a better sound!!

I'm glad i have done it. No regrets....

If someone want to know step by step how to install on a M271, please lett me know and i will explain.

That looks great. Does it change the sound of the car? I have the meisterschaft exhaust and I am thinking about changing the headers also because I would love more low end torque.

It changes the sound a bit, just enough and a nice "racy" sound.... dont know how to describe it!! But i love it

In the W203 section the new price for the US is been changed also, you pay $ 995,00 for the M271 headers now.

Dont know if they have changed the price for the M272 headers to

also after the header upgrade can u also get by without engine management (ecu upgrades?)
Talked to my local shop and they are expecting to start production on the M272 headers in 3-4 weeks. I don't have any dyno's but their talking 20HP gain for the headers and an additional 20HP gain w/ECU tune. ECU tune is going to run 1500 bones installed; no idea on the headers as of yet.
