The headers were on my wish list a long time, to complete my Brabus Exhaust....

Hope i can fit it soon!!!

Why did you go with the Brabus exhaust instead of the Meisterschaft exhaust?

Looks great. I'm gonna have to start looking under the hood soon for improvements and Kleemann headers were definitely on my list.

I was looking for the headers a long time, and i contacted Kleemann last week and the price was very reduced for the headers with cat. In 2008 they asked about € 2050,00 (EURO) ex VAT for it, but they have reduced the price and now the headers for the M271 are € 995,00 ex VAT. and ex shipping costs.

It fits on the oem exhaust, but for the better flow i think its better to do it all the way. Dont need to do an ECU upgrade

See Kleemann's website :

More power - Better sound

The KLEEMANN tubular exhaust headers remove exhaust backpressure allowing the engine to breathe freely and thereby produce more power.

Supercharged as well as normally aspirated engines will benefit from the use of KLEEMANN stainless steel headers. A normally aspirated engine will typically gain 7 to 10 percent in horsepower and torque, while a supercharged engine will gain as much as 15 percent in horsepower and torque.

KLEEMANN headers are made of high quality stainless steel and feature mandrel bends, precision water-jet cut flanges, larger primary pipe diameters, and larger collectors and down-pipes. KLEEMANN headers integrate with the stock engine management flawlessly with no need for further modification.

Available for all Mercedes-Benz V6 and V8 engines
The KLEEMANN Tubular Exhaust Headers fit all V6 and V8 engines of 1998 and newer. Whether you own a six or an eight cylinder car with the M112/M113 - or the M272/M273-generation V8 engine KLEEMANN has a set of high flow exhaust headers that will add 20-30 Hp to your NA engine and up to 40-60 Hp to your forced induction V6/V8

Combined with a KLEEMANN exhaust system the sound is just phenomenal - something you have to experience.

More power for 4 cyl. models
New for 2006 is the tubular header for the four cylinder M271-engine mounted in all newer 180 and 200-models. Fitted with the new high flow header and down pipe power output is increased with up to 25 Hp on the 1.8 litre Kompressor engine.

Important notice: Our header and exhaust systems may not comply with noise and emission regulations of certain markets.

Are you doing just a cat-back system with the headers or are you replacing the cat and down pipe as well?

You motor code /type is M272 isnt it??

If it's the M272 than they have headers for your car also, see the kleemann catalogue 2009 on their website (www.kleemann.dk)

I have asked it to Kleemann, lett you know the answer if i got the reaction.

Reaction received:

We have headers kit for M272 engine, but we haven’t tried it on the C300 W204.

Have looked at the MKB-power.de website, they have a complete system incl. headers and cat for the C280 and 350, and they are the same. And if im not wrong, the C280 is the same as the C300 only they call it 280 here in the EU! Havent they got headers in stock in the US so you can try it??

Or someone with EPC can check if the oem headers are the same from a C300 and C350, if they have the same part # you can go for it.

I will post some pics, hope i have some more power, they claim about 8-12% more hp and torque.

Wow a supercharger for the M272, must be an expensive one, but if i had the M272 i would go for it if the price is a little bit normal.
