If it's just a flat tire...you can take it to any tire shop to get it repaired. Something to keep in mind if mercedes inflates the repair cost of something as easy as this.

It sounds as if you did not put the spare on. Why?. I had my tyre punctured by a small sharp piece of basalt . It cost me A$20 to have a plug inserted at a independent tyre retailer.Just be sure to go to a reputable business because if the damage to the tyre is too great it should be replaced , not repaired. In my experience ,a small hole in the tread section is usually repairable but damage to the sidewall is not .

I also say try a local repair shop.

When I had one go down last year, I knew it was beyond repaid because there was a several inches long by 1-2 inch wide piece of wood in the tire.

So I ordered an identical tire on tirerack, took the bad tire and wheel to tire shop, and they switched them out and balanced it for me for $25 or something.

Take it to the dealer, it's not that bad. Me/Be won't plug a tire you can drive over 100 mph on. They will patch it from the inside and rebalance the tire. I think the repair was <$25 I had it done. I also had a tire replaced. it was>200 for a conti pro.

I agree with Rick no plugs either patched from inside or a new tire. But I would use an indie tire shop by me.

I'm not completely sure on this (meaning I'm not in the tire business), but using the fix-a-flat often makes it more difficult to make certain repairs to the tire, so you may be limited. I was always told that the fix a flat was a last resort (only use if your spare is also flat or multiple tires go down) for this reason.

In the future you might want to consider purchasing a warranty from one of the national tire chains. In my experience they are very good about tire repairs and I've even had tires replaced under warranty that were "questionable". Of course that warranty will cost you much more than just a one-time plug or patch job.

fix a flat just is a pain... they have to clean the tire extra before the patch... and as mentioned above patch from the inside or replace.... i think plugs are outdated and not so say... more like a trail fix for a truck tire or backwoods shop at this point.

it depends where on the tire the puncture is. It should be cheap if it has punctured straight into the tire and it can be repair with a simple plug. However there are also weak spots of the tire which = very hard to repair =p so depends where you struck gold.
