Nice. I'm not from Toronto but I go out of my way to recommend the Pinnacle F1 series Ceramic tint. I've got 35 on the four doors, with 15 on the rear window. If you can't find a Pinnacle dealer I'd go with the Lumar Charcoal line.

Thanks C. i'll look into that. should give the car a completely different look. just worried bout the cops pullin me over. its funny when i picked up my car, a lady got pulled over driving a B-Class with her windows tinted. so funny she was complaining that she didn't want the windows to be tinted.

I attached some pictures so you could see my setup, they aren't optimal for seeing the true offset of the tint but they will give you an idea.

I live in Florida which has some pretty lax tint laws for U.S. standards. My P35 on the four doors and P15 on the rear is well within standards so I can't say that I live on the edge or anything. I went with the Pinnacle series due to it's performance over the Lumar at the same VLT.

it gives the car a more classy look with the tints. also, what do you use to clean your windows? exterior. I want to try to avoid getting swirl marks on the black part between the front and rear windows. i read up on several forums and everyone was saying after you get your car you should claybar then give it a clean wash.

Congrats and welcome!
I had mine clayed the day I brought it home from the dealer. My detailer was pleasantly surprised how good the MB paint is on the new models. I wish I would of clayed my '04 because there are a few pinhole spots that now have corrosion starting in them.
Seeing you're in Canada, I'd probably opt for it plus a few coats of Zaino sealer to help with the crap on the roads.
Maybe a clear bra too? It is the best $$$ I put in to the car yet.

Not sure which brand of bar he used, but I know he mainly uses Zaino products.
I enjoy washing and sealing my car, but I leave the clay and wax to a pro. Clay is essentially an abrasive, although they are never sold/marketed as such, and if you do not do it correctly you can damage your finish. Not sure what your comfort level is but you'll certainly want to be careful and maybe get some advice from a pro before trying it yourself.
Personally, I went to autopia.org and got some recommendations for a detailer in my area. They also have great DIY articles and lots of people to answer your questions.
Good luck!!!

Car cleaning/care recommendations run the gamut. Generally speaking, you can't go wrong with most Meguiars, Sonus, Pinnacle, Menzerna products will do you good. I use mostly Sonus products for the car shampoo, PH balanced wheel cleaner + tire dressing; Pinnacle products for the vinyl cleaner; 303 for the vinyl protectant; Poor Boy's quick detail spray for the touch-up details. For the glass I use diamondite because it came with the glass cleaner extension tool (triangle shaped). I use Menzerna for any polishes, sealants or waxes. If you use any combination of those products with some good microfiber towels (non-costco or walmart brand) you should be able to avoid any swirls and spider-webs.
Autogeek.com is a good site to read up on what direction you want to go and then if you choose to, you can also purchase products there. Don't forget that there's a forum on MBworld dedicated to cleaning and there are some decent how-to's on there.
