Just to confirm before I purchase a set of DDM HIDs . . Are the fogs H7 or H11 bulbs?

Don't kill me for asking . . it's been a long day and my hand is refusing to hit the search button since the post quick reply button is so much closer :P

Sounds like the fogs aren't monitored.

If you get 55W no need for error cancellers I think since they consume the same amount?

Does the system work off of detecting power usage or does it look for a signal from a chip?

It will still work with no error message on my dash whatsoever, but it will flick at start up and occasionally shut off and restart if you don't have a canceler in the low beam.

Fog light is perfectly fine with a 35w kits without a canceler.

Today, I installed the HID in the Fog lights, I spent hours to understand how it is possible a BIG error about the bulb size, H7 vs H11 in every where Mercedes Benz manuals, Sylvania.com say H11, however when you remove the bulbs is H7. As you mention before the installation, IS NOT PLUG AND PLAY. I used a slim ballast Digital that include the warning canceller in same cables. The bulb color 4300K same as OEM low beam color. I bought the ballast in ebay from HID-Superstore.

I upgraded from Luxery bumper to an AMG bumper and the oval foglight in my lux bumper was H11 and the new round fog light is H7. Simply I can't plug the H11 plug into the H7 foglamp assemble, i have upgraded to HID as well. (not that i need)

Can you post pics please? I have the stock bi-xenons and want to change the fogs to hid's as well and want them to look the same (as close as I can get them anyways...). Thanks in advance.

If not, does anyone else have pics of 4300k fogs with the stock bi-xenons? Thanks for any help. This community is awesome.
