Need some suggestions...

So i just picked up a set of Mandrus wheels in 19" and was wondering what tires to get.

I've read a ton of reviews from tirerack.com and I'm leaning towards these options:

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric

Pirelli PZero Nero

My main issues are road noise/comfort and tread wear. Has anyone had any personal experience with the tires listed above?

Also should I be purchasing another 4 TPMS sensors for the new wheels? or will using the stocks be ok?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and help

They do fit our w204's as I called them in from mymercedes.com

The sizes are Front: 19x8.5/et 43 & Rear: 19x9.5/et 53
Pattern: 5/112

I was told they would fit for the w204's

Yea originally it was $1290 shipped but Jerry from mymercedes.com called me back and told me he saved me another $40 on shipping and the total would be $1250 shipped instead.

Very great service and very helpful.

Would I need another set of TPMS sensors for the new wheels?

TPMS is a tire pressure unit that is located inside the wheels. It looks something like this:

Here is the question we deal with on a daily bases... what do i do about my TPMS.

If you plan to sell your stock wheels or just dont care about them.... then I would say pay to have them demounted and take the stock tire sensors out.

However if you plan to go back to your stock wheels during the winter or for whatever reason, then I would suggest just buying another set of sensors which is like $250 bucks and save yourself the headache of having to take them off the stocks, then put them back on the stocks later.

Yea I'm probably going to just swap out my oem sensors. Hopefully nothing happens where I'd have to switch back to my stock wheels.

Now I just need a good set of tires.

May end up going with:

Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric

235/35/19 Front
255/30/19 Rear

According to reviews on Tirerack they seem very good. Ranked #1 in the last test they did.

Keep in mind tirerack doesn't carry all brands. Don't forget to shop and compare Toyo, Nitto, Falken, Lexani, and Sumo.

Also have a look at the Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas.

Best kept secret in the high performance tire world! If TireRack carries or has access to these tires, BUY THEM! You won't regret it. They are giving the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s a serious run for their money. Speaking of $s, the price is oh so right. Take a look and tell me what you think.

I'm just gonna switch out my OEM tpms. I figure I'm never going back to stocks unless I have to for some reason.

Gonna go with the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric.

I'm from California (Bay Area) so winters here aren't so bad where I'd have to change out tires or anything.
