its weird but Mercs have always hovered around higher than middle. my dads 1984 SEC500 does the same thing. its weird because on my other cars, it doesnt give like a numbered temperature, just stays in the middle of C and H

Modern conventional wisdom says that you should drive straight out of your garage after starting but to go easy on acceleration , do not labour engine or use high revs until the operating temperature is achieved.
