Here's a copy of the press release of the ILS with pictures and diagrams explaining how it works.

E200C-Fully loaded, Obsidian Black, ILS, Panoramic roof and some other bits and pieces.
Just to confirm that I do in fact have the ILS. I drove the car on a bend and had my friend watch my lights as I turned and he did see the lights move towards the bend itself.
So I think the ILS is activated above a certain speed and has nothing to do with the steering movement alone.

I saw an Audi A4 2009 model flashing high beam Xenon's.
I noticed that the models equipped with Xenon's do not have halogen high beam units. Has anyone noticed or know more about this?
I have ILS, at low speed below 40 km/h or when the car is not in motion, the cornering light function is activated.
The Active light system (steering input) is activated above 40 km/h, additionally, above 110 Km/h with no large steering input for 1km or above 130km, the motorway mode is activated, this extends the beam pattern and increases the power output from 35w to 38w.
