2002 Infiniti G20
I just ordered mine from Markham MB, in Ontario yesterday. 09 350 with Premium pack, and MM $53,408 after the sales manager tagged on $3,000 worth of garbage

2007 Avalanche LT, 2009 C300
Wow c200 down here in Jamaica starts at 81kusd, a grey market US spec c300 thats flex fuel capable is about the same as a stripped c200 thanks to a special tax break but a c350 would be about 126k usd and a s550 with amg package 270k forget financing since interest rates are like 24%

After reading this thread, i feel so good about driving a MB in the US. We are very fortunate. On that note, I am trading in my 2007 C230 tomorrow for a 2009 C350 (Palladium grey, P2, Ipod, 18" AMG 5-spoked wheels)

Taxes &.......
Not really. the base price without any sort of sales tax or other tax is still pretty high for c350 for example. 47040 U.S. dollars.
If you add just 19% sales tax .....
19% SALES TAX???? Godalmighty. And the import duty is what?? And what about VAT?

Ok, I ticked the boxes, waited 8 months, and paid R503 000.00 for a C350 as I ordered. It does and feel exactly as I hoped for, that was 2008. It has new dash like C63. THey still sell older ones as new[2007 stock].
So R503 000.00 devx 10=$50 300.00.
or
So R503 000.00 devx 9=$55 888.00.
So are USA about $15 000 cheaper ??

MB W204, VW Polo, Audi R8 V10 - SOLD.
UK owner, so we don't have P1/2 options. Instead we have a list of options to choose from. My order is below:
- C180K BlueEFFICIENCY Sport
- Manual 6-Speed Gearbox
- Obsidian Black Metallic
- Memory Package
- Intelligent Light System
- Parktronic
- Cruise Control
- Aluminium Trim
- Rear Roller Blind
- Rear Split Seats 1/3:2/3
- Double Cup Holder (Front)
- Panotamic Glass Sunroof
- COMAND w/ Linguatronic
- Luxury Climate Control
- 18 inch AMG Alloy Wheels
- Harman/Kardon Surround Sound
- Heated Front Seats
- DAB Digital Radio
- Universal Consumer Interface (UCI) aka Media Interface
- Cables for Media Interface
- Tracker Horizon
- StarGuard Leather
- Illuminated Door Sills
- Chrome Look Indicators
Expecting delivery in July. That came to somewhere near £38.5k delivered. I managed to negotiate the price down to £36,125.
Still need to get the Tracker subscription (@ £342 for lifetime of car ownership), insure myself on the car (@ ~ £850), and possibly get GAP insurance (@ ~ £700 for 3 years). But that should cover me completely for as long as I own the car.
However the car isn't available in the US (C180K) so it's hard to do a direct comparison - possibly compare that against the smallest engine model in the US? @ currect exchange rate of £1 = £1.44 that is $52k (that's the £36k converted). Is that expensive compared to the US?

Not sure I agree with your last sentence. I have similar spec's and I paid less than $42K.

N. America has great pricing with lots of options one has to pay for in Europe bundled in. Downside is we don't have 100+ options to choose from. IMO the bundles here with MB are pretty good.
MB does have to compete with Lexus and Infinity here which are very popular and loaded with everything so we get great value whereas in Europe these two are hardly on any ones shopping list.

Spoke with the dealer a while ago(Canada) about purchasing an 09 C350 (non-4matic) with the only package available. It does come with a lot of standard goodies, and packaged goodies too, basically everything you could get. With a purchase incentive of $2000, discount of $1000 that they usually give, and a trade in of $4550, the price without negotiating was $54 000 after taxes and such. I'd try to get it to $50 000 but this still seems not good enough considering what some of you posted.
