Unless the grille is pushing up on the hood (which is not good), you may have to adjust the hood bumper height to align it better with the rest of the bumper. That gap is way above tolerances.

lol @ azn_c300..

The grille isnt pushing up on the hood. Now that the constructive feedback has been received, I now do see a gap between the bumper cover and hood (never noticed it). I'm going to re-install oem grille & have my car looked @ at the servcie ctr.

that's a pretty significant gap, but the hood on the passenger side isn't fully latched. you need to close the hood with a little more force at a higher height.

it's the same thing with my 63 style grille which the sides prevent the passenger side fully latched unless you close it with more force. that and plus my hood is notably misaligned from the factory.

I will try closing it with greater force - hopefully that will resolve the gap issue. BTW did you ever attempt to have the dealer repair your misaligned hood? I imagine that it should be covered by warranty considering it was a factory defect.

Hope you weren't around all these time with your hood popped

If you did, good thing it did not popped open while you are speeding down the freeway

So is there a new, better fitted grill. Its nice and would definitely consider, just not with that gap.
