+1 - the Sprintbooster does not reduce the lag - It just accelerates harder for a given throttle input after the lag - Please read the white paper. The only solution to the lag is to reprogram the ECU.

So what your trying to say is it's a piece of junk?

Thanks for the WhitePaper Glyn I learned something new (other than the SB is crap)

"We call the accelerator pedal the "gas pedal", but it does not regulate gasoline, it regulates air. Technically, I suppose we should call it the "air pedal", but that doesn't sound very macho."

An overpriced piece of junk - Enjoy stomping on the air pedal

Just read the white paper...

an excellent piece of writing.

From an electronics aspect I couldn't help but wonder if the op-amps / electronics had any protection against 'load dump' which could cause a spike on the supply line and fry the amps - possibly causing them to latch up at full rail voltage (full throttle).

I also wondered how fast the engine itself can respond - certainly nowhere as fast as the butterfly opens even with no load.

Just another example of snake oil - good for some people, but doesn't stand up to scrutiny.....
