Los Angeles area tint shops?
i'm sorry if this topic has been covered else where.
anyone got a recommendation for a tint shop in the LA area? either Los Angeles County or OC.
a friend told me TintMan from Walnut, but i've read some mixed reviews. anyone know this place or know any other places?

I got mine done @ XLNT Tint down in Anaheim...if you can stomach paying $400+ for a set of tint I highly recommend Huper Optik

most of the tint shop have lifetime warranty. depends on what films you want to use some shops have 3M and others have huber optik and others.
got mine done for $140.

Sunshield Tints... right off the 101 freeway on Van Nuys Blvd. REALLY CHEAP! like for a C-Class probably $130 using 3M film. Also Sticker City is directly across from it, a place where you could tint out lights, side markers, or any other part of your car...

When it comes to Huper Optik, only certain authorized companies are allowed to use this brand of tint. Perfect Window Tint, Inc. is one of 2 companies in SoCal (that I've found) that is authorized to install Huper Optik (the other one is in LA somewhere). If you don't like Huper Optik, they also are authorized to install other brands of tint as well, such as V-Kool and Wincos (both of which is reportedly very good as well).

What is so good about Huper Optik that other window tints do not have?

People get Huper Optik Ceramic series for the combination of superior IR/heat rejection, visibility, optical clarity, and the non-intereference of Ceramic tint. Just go to any Huper Optik authorized dealer and ask to see a demo, and you will be astounded.
