I just found out today that my driver's seat has a small cut.
I can even see the 'white inside filling' in throught the cut
Would dealer be able to fix this? God I hope so...
breaks my heart. I think the cut was from the jeans like the ones you know true religion kind.....
Ouch, I feel your pain.
I will show your picutre to my fiance, maybe then she will understand that those big metal buttons on the back of the jeans (some even have zippers) are a seat hazard. This has always been a concern to me.
I wold try a tiny drop of super glue on the inside (one of those that come with a syringe type of point). If you can manage to apply it so that no glue is on the outside it will be very discrete.
Alternatively, you can try one of those leather jacket repair services. I have a friend that had a rip on a leather jacket and got it fixed; you can barely notice it was there. I suppose MB tex will behave much like leather.
STAY AWAY from DIY kits, you will just make it worse.
Do not use super glue and do not do it yourself...there are plenty of qualified interior repair guys that can do this for $50 and you will never know that it was there...go to your dealer they will know, they have to have a guy that they use regularly for that sort of thing

+1 on this, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GLUE THIS URSELF, you will only regret it later, fork out the cash and have a pro do this
just bring it by the dealership. they are aware of the problem on these cars. for some reason its been happening to quite a few. they wont give you a hard time about it...and you will have a new seat cover in a couple of days!
I have a thread about this situation. My driver seat bro on the left outer part of the seat and i think it happen cause of when you sit down the air pressure from the inside needs to come out somehow, so it cause a rip and I took it to the dearler and they told me that's not cover cause that's consider tear and wear or maybe i could of cut it with something and they don't know that, I also contacted Mercedes of America and they also said that they couldn't do anything about it, so I had to contact the guy who works with the mercedes dealership where i got my car and I just worked with him outside of the dealership at my house and he charged me I think it was $150 or $200 to fix it. I did it as soon as i saw it cause i didn't want the leather to keep running and getting bigger and I have lifetime warranty on it.
