Thumbs up Pano - tint

I was wondering if anyone else got their Panoramic Sunroof tinted. We had a clear tint put in to absorb the heat and MAN it made a world of difference. For the Florida sun we had a tough time getting inside a black car with black interiors last summer. This year its a different story baby!

Just wondering if anyone else has done this. If not, for people living in places like Cali / Middle east you should seriously consider getting a clear tint for the Pano sunroof.

Cheers y'all.

ni2mi2, did you have the tint put on all of the pano area or just the front and back window part of the pano roof??
I am getting my car tinted soon and was wondering about if I should get some treatment for the pano roof..

@justthinking : We got the roof window covering the front as well as back done with clear tint. It did make a great difference as far as blocking the heat inside the car.

Hello all,

I tinted the sunroof of my E550 coupe with LLUMAR 95% ( the darkest film)... I regret that I can no longer see at night , it's way too dark and during the day it's useful against the sun, but anyway I talked to the body shop, they are willing to change it for Free.
I would like to know if I should put 20% or the clear one (6%).
I'm affraid that the 20% may be dark since the pano sunroof is tinted 80% from factory.

Thank you for telling me what you guys did for your cars, and how is the visibility..

Thank you again

I did 35% all around (NJ is tough w tint) and did 20% on both interior sunroofs. I keep the fabric closed most the time, but regardless it makes a huge difference

I put 80% ceramic tint (clear) on both sunroofs and also on the windshield. and have 18% on the sides and rear. My tint is rated at 44% heat rejection for the 80% and 56% heat rejection for the 18%. Makes a huge difference as far as heat rejection goes.
