Does anyone have pictures they can share to help?

Or possibly create a new write up?

For my fog lights I didn't have to cut anything but this was almost a year ago when I did it. The only thing I had to modify was for the headlights

Make sure not to leave the plug exposed and hanging on the bottom of the plastic liner. Mine rotted, and I've been hunting for one for a year now.

Bumping this thread. Took some time to research where to buy everything needed for the HID fog light upgrade for 09-11 models.

Seller for the Merc specific kit with special ballasts (might be cheaper elsewhere but this site has them for $270.00)
http://www.mteclightingusa.com/MTEC_...w204-09-11.htm

Another user posted this link for the adapters but it's still good so I wanted to repost.

Here is another MTEC seller that offers the kit in 3000k for an extra $15.00 instead of the previous link which only had 3500k. They also offer a 2 year warranty on the bulbs and ballasts vs. 1 year from the first site (sorta strange since it's the same product). Not much of a difference but I went with this vendor because of those two factors.

Question

Never saw an updated link a new and improved version, so just a very delayed bump on this one.

Not sure why people remove images that are hosted online without updating the links to those images. I swear every other thread on mbworld has way too many dead links. Come on dudes.... I understand the years go by and all, but damn, I have pics hosted on photobucket and google that have stayed active since like 2005 without touching them even once. lol.

Anyone have an updated how to on this?

HIDs don't belong in fogs. They need HID projectors or else you scatter light everywhere, and lose the "fog" purpose. If you want to look cool, put silver stars in there, or get a LED kit from www.theretrofitsource.com
