I go to the same dealer all the time, so since I did dust filter, only charged service A price and the brake fluid change I wanted.
So I got service Service B and Brake Fluid Change for approx $310. I thought that was pretty good.


Flexible Service System - A-Service
Change your vehicle's engine oil and filter
Rotate tires if applicable
Ensure the warning and indicator lamps, horn, windshield/headlamp wiper and washer systems, and seat belts are functioning correctly
Inspect tires and check tire pressure (including spare)
Inspect brake pad thickness and disc condition
Check and correct all fluid levels
Reset your vehicle's FSS counter *Model year 1998 through 2006 vehicles are equipped with the Flexible Service System (FFS)

Replace the dust filter in all SLK, CLK, C-Class and E-Class models, and in S-Class and SL-Class models without the active charcoal filter, prices may vary by model.
Inspect windshield wiper inserts

Lubricate and inspect throttle linkage
Ensure the parking brake, steering play, headlamps and exterior lamps, warning and indicator lamps, horn, windshield/headlamp wiper and washer systems, seat belts, and backrest lock (S-Class only) are functioning correctly
Inspect tires and check tire pressure (including spare)
Inspect brake pad thickness and disk condition
Inspect front axle ball joints and Poly-V-belt
Check and correct all fluid levels
Reset your vehicle's FSS counter *Model year 1998 through 2006 vehicles are equipped with the Flexible Service System (FSS)

Of course, none of the above are offering any specials, will probably go for the $331 service but can't help feeling that they're doing something less then the dealerships.... So two questions:
Are the small service shops that specialize in MB, BMW, and Audi really doing everything the dealerships do for a much cheaper price?
AND
Has anyone found ANY coupons for the Dallas/Fort Worth area???
