What is this cabel for? A2118200088 Antenna adapter cable, i have retrofitted comand, but i have this cable left-over.. where should it go?

Cant Find this 14 pink pin
locate a large 14-pin pink connector, remove and disconnect the red/blue line placed in cavity 6, replace with retrofit harness wire, assemble in reverse order.
Where is this exactly dont see any 14 pin pink conector on the sam module

Have you removed the entire front SAM module?, its four screws, two of wich are tricky to loosen.
The pink connector is plugged in "under" the SAM module.

The SAM module must be accessed through the engine bay, its just under the lower left corner of the windshield.
Remove the cover, loosen four torx screws and lift it straight up.

hi
Everything exept h/k audio works as if the option was factory fitted,
h/k sound system is a pretty extensive and pricey retrofit.
In addition to Audio 20, the COMAND has:
DVD-changer
40gb harddrive with 6gb available for MP3.s
Voice control
Memory card option
DVD and harddrive based navigation.
7" flip up screen

Hello Vic.
I am from Europe and i have a c220 cdi w204 model 2007 and from stock i have the Audio 20.
I want to retrofit a comand.I want the 7" inch display with navigation/dvd/HDD/changer.I don't want the SAT RADIO or something else...because it will not work in my country(Romania).I want to buy them from ebay but i didn't understand that the part you listed works on my car and if they are what i need. Please help me because i don't want to throw the money away. And if i go to a Mercedes Benz dealer in my country they will definitely send me away .
This is what i found on ebay:
monitor number / unit number: A 204 820 46 97 9F45 / A 204 870 34 96
And i olso found something Model: NTG4...what's this?!
Thanks.

Great Vic Viper i just did as you explain in the first post i buy the HU from ebay used and order the rest from Mercedes Benz in oxford and follow your steps but the last one with SCN coding i did not i have no access.
But when i was working i disconnect the battery when i connect again after i finish steps all things works fine but the navi menu not in my IC (i don't care there are no maps for my country) and also i found something i can't know is it for missing SCN coding or for d/c the battery long time that my service B remaining Km is missing just days remaining shows.
What i can do to let the service remaining KM appears in the IC
please advise
ps. it takes about 7 hours from start till end

If the GPS is connected correctly, does it not show you where you are but somewhere else?
If that is the case then you probably will have to go into the dealer to have them configure the MOS Ring, COMAND, and SCN code a few things. The main thing is to get the COMAND in a state where it is stable.

Are you getting a GPS signal at all? When you are in the Nav screen you should get "bars" that indicate the GPS signal strength. There is also a place in ENG that gives a decimal read out of signal strength... I dont remember where it is off of the top of my head though. As Vic said, it is very easy to mix up with Sirius and GPS ports.

Just so you know your connections are correct, here is a pic of the back of a Comand with all the connections identified.

Sirius audio is coming in through the MOS ring. If you have an installation error, it may be between the Blue tooth and the GPS, or the AM/FM and the GPS/Blue Tooth - don't imagine that could be the case.

Just missed out taking pictures of this.
