Its amazing how her car looked compared to your car. Your car had damage but nothing compared to her front end. Just tells you how much better built a MB is!

Sorry to see a beautiful W204 got damaged. 405 can be a headache.. i remember i read it somewhere that you can pop back the head restrain. is there any damage to the frame? or body panels?

not to mention the car that does the rearending almost always looks worse than the one that got rearended.

My wife's 2009 E350 was rearended on the 405S about a month ago with around 632 miles on the odometer (3-4 weeks after purchase). Damage was minimal (less than OP's)... only 2 indentations left by the license plate screws from the other car. Bumper had to be taken off, sanded, indentations fixed, repainted, and reinstalled. No other damage was present. Total cost was around $1,300. I'm surprised OP's cost under $1,300 given that his damage looks worse than my wife's...
