All urban driving 11 mpg. All the lights, stop signs and jaywalking pedestrian kill economy - plus my heavy foot haha. I still only use one tank in two weeks.

I am routinely getting 28+ and if the ambient temps are in the upper 50s or lower 60s, I'm seeing 30+. For a while I thought I had to be on freeway for that, but I've reached 28 on city streets with speeds ranging from 35 to 45. The key, of course, is not stopping at red lights (and no! Don't run them).
My early morning commute ends with a large hill, and I'm still seeing 28+. This run is only about 23 miles. Mostly freeway, but the last 3 miles on surface streets.
I suspect that mileage variations reflect the heavy lead foot vrs the let it drive mentality. I am frequently slowing from 10+ over the limit, and noticed I'd reached 80 the other day. No real effect on the mpg. And I am not using the cruise control.

Fuel Mileage
After a month of driving the previously cared for 09 C300 Sport (23,000 miles), I'm averaging 24-26 MPG with mixed city/highway driving. I don't drive fast and only jump on the accelerator when needed for passing or entering the freeway.

22.1 total mileage per display, not bad considering how much city driving I do now. Best I've seen is 28.1 on long road trips. Not bad at all and way better than the CX-7 I traded for the Benz.

A mixture of highway and city driving usually gets me at best 20 mpg ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
but with highway only cruising at 75 mph i've done as well as 28 mpg![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I'm really not too too concerned with the mpg because if i was i would've gotten a different kind of car. I dont think mpg was even a factor in my decision when shopping a few years ago.

I get as low as 9 mpg in the city sometimes if I drive aggressively. But ususally I get around 13 to 14 mpg in the city and up to 29 mpg on highway. Unfortunately mostly city driving for me.

Trip Mileage
I've had my previously owned 2009 C300 Sport for a couple of months now and finally took it on a road trip to Houston, TX from Fort Worth.
With AC on and cruise set at 73 I made 31.6 MPG (reading on MB computer) using Texaco 93 Octane. When I refueled in Houston at a Chevron I manually computed the mileage and that indicated 32 MPG.
I'm impressed since my combined hwy/city is usually around 25-27.

I used mobil gas before but i don't like them.. car feels sluggish putting their 93 in.. I changed it to bp, got a little better.but then when i used shells vpower, i felt a huge difference in the acceleration. weird..

I've got the C350 and get at least 17 MPG when driving it full speed on the autobahn. My average is at 21.8 and I've got around 2400 miles. Also, when I first got my car, I had better gas mileage than that, around 23 I think (I keep it on l/100km but I've flipped over now and again to check)

I just did a 190 mile round trip drive to Long Island this weekend and I averaged 29 mpg with the AC on going 70-75 mph in my C350. I usually get between 18-22 in the city (Depending on traffic conditions). Keep in mind...I don't floor it every time there is a small gap, only to have to slam on my brakes.

Just did a long road trip, about 800 miles. On the highway, avg was about 28-30, depending on speed which was avg 72 over time, was doing 75-80 most of the highway driving. Could probably have avg above 30-32 is I stayed at 65 or so,
