no dont use leather cleaner stuff it leaves a film...the best way is to use an ammonia-free foaming window cleaner..

I use sunlight soap ( a pure yellow kitchen soap) with a soft rag & warm water. I rinse with clean water, dry ,then apply 303 vinyl ultra violet protector. Clean as a whistle!!Originally Posted by ACdude

Most any quality brand vinyl/rubber cleaner product will work well. Most are usually a combination cleaner/protectant.

im using mcguires leather spray cleaner... and although it does give the leather a nice look... it does tend to leave residue and marks... and i really rub it in!...
i need to try some a these member's concoctions lol... maybe ill get a better result.

LOL! ARTICO isn't that bad.. most people can't tell the difference since they would think all MBs came with quality leather.. hahaha but yea.. getting ARTICO leather.. you'd sacrifice the smooth door panels..
MBWorld Fanatic!
yea artico is aiiiite...
it looks dirty tho all the time cause little white hairs keep poppin through the holes in the "leather".

Believe it or not, baby wipes. You can use them on leather or MB Tex and they clean most everything and don't damage the surface.

if you have black interior... the speaker grill always dirty.. and if people ever sit at the back the back of your front seats should be white.. ahhah a

Griott's Garage makes an interior cleaner that works really well, and doesn't leave any shine, residue or slickness.

+1 ammonia foam spray, also simply a damp (water only) works too.
as i said before, in my opinion, nothing that ive ever used restored the original finish of the tex better than foaming ammonia-free glass cleaner...
try it and let me/us know what you think!

oh, and although water works well, unfortunately it does not fully remove greasy residue...will work on dust, but not the former..

I like Tuff Stuff, a foam cleaner. Supermarkets carry it, too.
