The disappointment of owning a piece of crap way outlasts the pleasure of a low price!

the quad fogs are straight up homo.

i dont know how you can like two ovals in a car that is full of straight lines.

It's better than the rotated 7. Quad fogs looked much better than the lighting package on the new E. Especially in person imo. But it's all in the eyes of the beholder.

Some pictures I took when I was at the dealer. I love the leather interior on the new E.

i saw the quad fog lights at the dealership today. I'll take the LED version all day and all night. maybe if they don't have chrome surrounds they look better.

I'm not going to waste time with a private message.

The cost from MBenzNL, which included Priority Parcel Post from the Netherlands was $1400 delivered to my door. That's a hell of a lot of money but on the other hand it's peanuts compared to what others have spent on big wheels and body kits, etc.

Ah, but there is is more. the "Euro" units have convex mirrors which is OK for the right side but for the driver's side it's dangerous, which I have decided since they were installed. So, holding my breath, I ordered yesterday a GLK left side mirror glass (heated and self-dimming) which is interchangeable.

The cost for the glass (after my MBCA discount and sit down before reading further) is $730.

But, it's a matter of safety so I have to do it.

Lastly, what is 2.6k SGD in money I've heard of?

True !!! Great City - we have our Asian HQ there - Raffles Place. Changi is still the greatest airport in the world & I know - I used to travel internationally > 200 days a year.

Nothing wrong with that! - some will be disappointed though. I love the US but I would rather live in Asia or Tuscany in Italy. Right now it's great to be home after too many years spent abroad.

Yes - Back home in SA. I spent a long while opening up new businesses in Asia - China, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Japan, Korea etc - Then got heavily involved in Latin America & Eastern Europe while still trying to look after our mature markets. Love Asia & the Asian people - hardworking, clever, polite & culturally rich. Great food!

Well, I certainly don't have your vast experience, having visited only the countries listed below.

Denmark
Germany
France
Monaco
Netherlands
Belgium
Italy
Austria
Luxembourg
Liechtenstein
Iceland
Greenland
Switzerland
England
China
Singapore
Thailand
Malaysia
Hong Kong
Macau
Japan
Taiwan

And of course Canada and Mexico.

And I still say all posters should list their place of residence before being able to post anything.

Yeah - done e'm all. We trade in 227 countries - seen them all - With that kind of experience - what was the problem with Singapore Dollars? You've been to Singapore & SGD is the international currency denomination for Sing$

Or is - quote "Lastly, what is 2.6k SGD in money I've heard of?" unquote - just being cocky?

BTW - one thing we agree on is that membership should be dependent on filling ones profile properly.

For those of limited geographical knowledge - you had better explain that your address is on the magnificent Sunshine Coast of Australia.

A friend of mine, Brigitte Zaczek, plays cello with Berlin Philharmonic from time to time when she is not looking after cultural matters in Vienna - her home. At one time they got so fed up with American tourists that they started selling tee shirts outside the Musikvereinssaal saying "there are no kangaroos in Austria!"

I can't say whether they fold closer to the door but the total distance from the glass to the furthest outboard portion of the housing is 7 7/8" inches folded.
I was hoping they were smaller. No need to change. I guess I'll get those CF stick-ons to cover the chrome.

The housings are considerably smaller. Same as the GLK as one example.

You could just swing by your dealer and see for yourself since the 2010 Cs have them. I was looking at three of them just yesterday.
