He just replaced the amber bulb with stealth ones. Most modders here have done it to get rid of the scrambled egg look.

1. Go to Kragen or any other autopart store
2. Buy some chrome spray paint (doesn't even have to be high temp cause the turn signal isn't continuously on so won't really heat up).
3. Pull out the bulbs, give them a quick spray, let dry.
4. Put them back in.

Total cost....$4.

just buy the bulb. its about $10 bucks on ebay or $20 if you care about the brand. That's what I did.

you don't need to disassemble anything. You can reach back and unplug, remove the bulbs behind the headlights. Just look in to see where the bulb is located from the front and reach back behind it to feel the assembly. It's not that hard to do.

I found these on ebay.

Front http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/3457-...Q5fAccessories
Rear http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/7507-...Q5fAccessories
Side Markers http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/194-C...item3a529c7843

Do these look alright? The pictures have a little orange showing on the bulbs.
Will they match the color of the signals on the mirrors?

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
I wanted to try that last year and many said it will throw an error code. I am not sure. It would be ideal for the rear turns.

Where did you buy the bulbs?
Surely you did not buy StealthAuto's expensive crap.

The point is to switch the ugly orange bulbs to the stealth chrome bulbs, which still blink amber orange!
