For lowered cars

A question. I have the 18 inch wheels and i will lower with H&R sport springs. Does that clear the concrete parking barriers ( whatever they call them) My previous lowered clk 430 was way too low in the front for those.

I have the 18 inch Wheels and the H&R Sports and it just barely clears it however there are some cases in which the front bumper hits depending on the elevation of the ground. In other words if you are in a parking garage and parking up hill it will hit so stay awaY!!

I recently got the H&R supersports and it looks awesome with the 18 AMGs. I do however plan on getting 19s in the near future. The ride quality is a bit more stiff from when it was stock, but it isnt horrible.

A C-Class fits in a spot fine without getting near the concrete barrier... Why even risk it?

PS- I always back in just to be safe.

just as a reference point as I know we dont have the same size wheels but with my 19s with H&R sport springs I can barely clear those cement things although I guess it depends on how tall those things are! I've been to some places where even my stock height wont clear it.

I dont get it, why give yourself peace of mind knowing if you can or cant clear them based on forum memembers when I've seen a wide range of sizes from easy to clear to there's no way in hell even a stock height car can clear it....

Either back in or stop short.

I agree. I noticed recently in Germany curbs and things like this are much lower, but in the U.S. I stop way behind them. Usually have someone get out to get me within a foot or so since I can't judge very well. haha
