The only issue with them is that I hear homeless people are roaming further and further out of downtown in the middle of the night collecting bottles from people who throw them in there.
OP: nice car. Can't wait for mine!
That garage ... it's smaller than mine, and that takes some doing!
It sure points out that architects aren't looking muchly toward the use of such places. Ideas like being able to open doors without colliding with something, or being able to move the garbage/recycling out without moving the car, or storing your stuff without banging your head into it, seem lost on home builders.
My new garage (already built, but not yet finished ... later this summer) has 9 ft wide single car doors, and 4 ft spacing around the car. There is no car length restriction (without being 'stupid' about it!). A garage should be serviceable, not just a mandatory appendage on a house.

might be easy for you, but when you live in a house that can only be so big, as in there are two other houses connected to yours on each side, then you are really restricted.
I dont have the luxury to live in the 'burbs

Illusive:
I'm so sorry you are disappointed with the new car, but, please, don't take it out with the trash, let me know and I'll go pick it up.
Congratulations, hope you feel the wait was rewarded with satisfaction in spades. Looks great, is great, should feel great.
Cheers, JV

The burbs here are treeless ghettos populated with characterless homes, unheated small garages with no drywall - and those will set one back $400K+. Commute times are horrendous, transit trains are jammed like sardines.

In Calgary living in the burbs is "not" a luxury - it's for those who can't afford a nice home with decent sq ft in the center ("starting at 1.5 MN ranging up to $10MN) and refuse condo living.
